Located on the remote island of South Caicos, Salterra Resort & Spa, part of Marriott's Luxury Collection, is a place where memories crystallize. Inspired by the island’s rich salt mining history, its vibrant waters, and off-the-beaten-path locale, we developed a brand concept and identity teeming with buoyancy, restoration, and discovery.
During the creative process, we dived into South Caicos’ history, its ecosystem, and current tourism landscape. We identified demand generators and key opportunities to appeal to our ideal guest: the adventurous traveler looking for a secluded beach stay with ample amenities and water recreation.
The brand identity is inspired by buoyancy, salt pans, native flora and fauna, and times of day.
