A Storied Party Brings New Energy
The Ben West Palm, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is a modern revival of the Ben Trovato, a Victorian home estate helmed by author, conservationist, and hostess Byrd Spilman Dewey. Rich in history with Floridian energy and conviviality, copy took a storybook approach. To create awareness ahead of the hotel’s opening, I worked cross-team on a promotional social campaign to feed potential guest curiosity and establish the brand story. While my time on this BCV account was short, I loved immersing myself in the story of Byrd Spilman Dewey and the fantastical image of South Florida in the late 1800s.
